Angelina Ruffled Tutu Skirt Girls PDF Sewing Patttern
Product Type: PDF Sewing Tutorial (no printing/assembly of pattern pieces!)
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner or intermediate
Size Range: 6-12M to girls 12
Named after the little mouse ballerina that my daughter loves, the Angelina Skirt is everything girly! Three tiers of adorable ruffles, with a layer of tulle beneath each one gives this skirt its extra fullness. Sew it up in different fabrics for a fun look, or use all the same fabrics for a bit more sophistication. For a simpler look, you can omit the tulle entirely…..or as an extra feminine alternative, use lace instead (see the addendum at the end of the tutorial for instructions).
No pattern pieces are required to make this project…everything is cut from the cutting charts. It is not technically difficult, but it does require a lot of gathering and assembling narrow components, so it could be overwhelming to a brand new sewist. This project is most suitable for an advanced beginner or an intermediate seamstress. Includes sizes 6-12M through 12. Have Fun!!
