Betty Lou Girls Retro Ruffle Bodice Dress PDF Sewing Pattern
Product type: PDF Sewing Pattern
Skill Level: Advanced beginner to intermediate
Size Range: 3-6m to girls size 10
The Betty Lou has plenty of vintage charm! This retro style dress has an adorable ruffle that travels across the front bodice and extends over the top of the armholes. The back of the dress closes with buttons, which are sewn all the way up the entire length of the dress. If you dislike sewing buttonholes, you can use sew-in snaps instead! Plus, there is a new sleeve option that can be used with a narrower ruffle that extends across the front bodice only. Choose from two different sleeve options, puffed or flared. Although the Betty Lou has a pretty simple construction, a brand new seamstress might find the bodice a bit tricky, so I would recommend this for an advanced beginner or an intermediate seamstress. Instructions and pattern pieces for making a dress sized 3-6 months up to size 10 are included. Happy sewing!
