This listing includes two patterns: The Buttercream Icing Triple Ruffle Dress and the Ella Rose Headband and Brooch pattern!

About the Buttercream Dress Pattern: This fun and flirty princess style frock is perfect for any special occasion, any time of year! The pull over style bodice has curved princess seams which can be accented with either a ruffle or the sewing trim of your choice. The elasticized panel in the back gives the bodice a fitted look while still being comfortable for your little girl to wear. Best of all, the skirt is made up of three layers of yummy ruffles, so perfect for twirling. You can trim the ruffles with lace, ribbon or other pretty sewing trim if you like! A waistband and two generous ties form a bow in the back, completing the look. This dress looks even more amazing with a pettiskirt (also available at Foofoo Threads) worn underneath. This project is appropriate for an advanced beginner or intermediate sewist. Sizes 6-12M through girl’s size 10 are included. This pattern DOES offer a layers printing option, allowing you to print only the size(s) you need!

About the Ella Headband and Brooch pattern: The Ella Headband is so simple and sweet you’ll want to make a dozen! The headband is a super quick and easy project and can be made in a variety of different sizes. The lovely handmade rose can also be made in several different sizes and can be embellished in many ways. Add a button to the center, experiment with different fabrics such as tulle, chiffon or lace or add jewels, feathers or ribbon. These roses are partially made with a sewing machine and partially hand stitched. Alternatively, much of the hand stitching can be avoided by assembling your rose with a hot glue gun (this assembly method will save a significant amount of time!). These roses can also be made into brooches by adding a pin back…or they can be sewn directly to the headband. This is the perfect project for using up leftover fabric scraps! This design includes pattern pieces to make a headband in 6-12m all the way up to adult. Roses can be made in five different sizes, ranging from 2” to 5.5”. Only basic sewing skills are required.
